Baycliff Gala
Up

Uncle Tim and Daisy staged yet another performance, on August 30th,
at the Baycliff Village Gala.

Although there were fears that the evil Black Noir would put in an appearance, the challenge race against Fifi le Flea actually came from the terrifying Cocklers' Flea. Leaving a trail of slimy mud behind it, the Cocklers' Flea crept in from the nearby sands of Morecambe Bay, to provide a thrilling performance for the villagers, on a lovely sunny afternoon.

Here's a few pictures to record the event!

Triumphant once again, Fifi prepares for the return trip to Paris, while the ugly Cocklers' flea skulks back to the sands, hoping for a bite.

Finally, Uncle Tim and Daisy thanked the Baycliff Community Association for their personal contributions to the flea circus, and stressed that all these would be returned later.

Rumours that the Number 10 Press Office had assisted in preparing the day's performance were also strenuously denied.
